Visit by Class from St. Bernard’s

Quite an exciting Thursday morning today at the Library. Amanda had arranged for a group of children from St. Bernard’s Primary to visit with us as part of the Memory Bank Project.

It was a joy for Carole and I talking to the Group and answering their many interesting questions. This session was followed by an excellent film show of old Burnage by John.

We gave them information of the new project which will be starting starting on Tuesday of next week, The Big Friendly Read (the 2016 Summer Reading Challenge), and which they are looking forward to.

They said they had really enjoyed themselves, and I am sure you will be finding quite a few of them coming along to get themselves a library card.

All in all a very successful morning.
